Services

We offer a wide variety of services at Maven Rehab as part of our veterinary physiotherapy and sports therapy sessions. Find out more below.

Small Animal Veterinary Physiotherapy

Small animal physiotherapy is an invaluable tool for managing a wide range of conditions in dogs and cats. It can aid in recovery or management for orthopaedic issues, support neurological conditions, and assist with injury rehabilitation, whether post-surgery or through conservative management. Physiotherapy can also provide much-needed support for senior pets and those hard working animals, helping them stay mobile and comfortable as they age.

During a typical session, we assess your pet's movement, posture, and musculoskeletal health, tailoring treatments to their specific needs. You’ll receive a report and exercises to continue care at home. When needed, we collaborate with your vet to ensure the best outcomes for your pet.

**Important Note** Veterinary consent is required by law in the 1966 Veterinary Surgeons Act by your animal’s registered veterinarian in cases of injury or any animal under current veterinary supervision.

Large Animal Veterinary Physiotherapy

We proudly offer physiotherapy services for all large animals, ensuring tailored care for each individual.

A typical session includes a comprehensive orthopaedic and neurological assessment. We evaluate movement and assess the health of muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, and hoof balance. Treatment is tailored to the assessment findings and any pre-existing conditions. Following the session, you'll receive a detailed report along with therapeutic exercises to support ongoing recovery and performance. Where appropriate, we may collaborate with other veterinary professionals involved in your horse's care, such as your vet or farrier.

**Important Note** Veterinary consent is required by law in the 1966 Veterinary Surgeons Act by your animal’s registered veterinarian in cases of injury or any animal under current veterinary supervision.

**Mobile Services** We offer mobile appointments for equine and farm clients, bringing our expert care directly to your location.
